Our purpose is still to promote opportunities for competitive driving for all ages, using the family unit as a foundation and guide for this recreational activity. Using a "working together--playing together" philosophy, the association will strive to coordinate with local driving course/track owners to provide and support a learning, growing, and safe experience in competitive driving.
What a geat winter season opener! Thanks EVERYONE for all the help and attendance. We had 115 entries and the racing was fantastic! We struggled with the track prep Fri. night due to some unforseen problems and a lack of equipment, but with the great help from the dedicated CKA members we made a mostly flat circle , LOL. We are gonna get it better for the next one and thanks everyone for understanding. We have a couple bugs to work out with the format change but all in all I think it worked out pretty good. Especially when you consider the fact that when the last race was done it was 6:30 pm. Yup last race done and the bench racing starting before 7 pm .
CKA would like toCongratulate Ted Escobar for running a clean consistant race to take the win in
the second annual Tater Digger shootout. Nice race Ted.
2nd Place went to our own vice President Joe "iron man" Stackman
for the show, we had the one and only Bradley Shaw.
Congratulations, Our hats are off to you.
2nd Annual Jeff "BUDDHA-Kinser" Benson Memorial Race!
Congratulations to Ronnie Cox for the win. Very nice smooth run.
Renee Angel and Dave Hansen, what can I say? Lap after lap it looked like there
had to be a chain hooking you too together. Very fun to watch, and very clean racing.
Sorry about the lap traffic Dave, you did a great job. Awesome job Renee on the second.
Also for third, nice job hanging in there goes to Nick Frausto.
Everyone did an excellent job, in all classes. My hats off to all racers.
Thank you CKA
